The Case Management Consultant is required to support the Saskatchewan Indian Training Assessment Group Inc. (SITAG) network in its Case Management process through the use of its Training Administration System (TAS) database and other reporting structures. 

The Case Management Consultant's main focus is to train organizations and/or employees within SITAG on policy, protocols, and guidelines as per the regional agreement with Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC). The position operates in a consulting capacity and works closely with the Manager, Labour Force Development, in overseeing the related reporting mechanisms of ASETS Operations, in addition to working with highly sensitive and confidential information. This position includes the following broad range of accountabilities:

  • Prepare and organize case management data into reports
  • Remain up-to-date with labour force development, information, standards and trends
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of information as it relates to clients, employers, the Institute, and other third parties
  • Support department outcomes with an advanced understanding of the expected results
  • Responsible for scheduled database exports to ESDC
  • Provide support and training to the EDCS department employees
  • Extensive travel to various First Nations communities
  • Support relationships with related ASETS agencies and partners as required
  • Develop training resources to support new users and deal with common challenges
  • Deliver case management training centrally in Saskatoon and /or through community on-site visitation
  • Support the case management process by coordinating and organizing consultation activities among agreement holders
  • Problem solve case management issues as they arise, escalating issues to direct supervisor when difficult situations arise

Required Qualifications and Experience

A degree or diploma in a social sciences discipline, business, or a related post-secondary degree is preferred.  At least three (3) years of experience in case management is required, as well as, experience working with Microsoft Office suite of programs. Knowledge and/or experience working with a variety of database software is considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Knowledge of First Nations cultures and organizations would be an asset. Incumbent must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation as travel is required.
